February Recap

BOOKS READ: 8

1. Shakespeare: Macbeth ⭐⭐⭐⭐  Re-read. Still needed comprehension helps though.

2. Tsarfati: Revealing Revelation ⭐⭐⭐⭐  Non-fiction, Christian, Biblical, readable explanation of the Book of Revelation and End Times. Exciting times ahead!!

3. Pyle: The Story of King Arthur ⭐⭐⭐  Re-read. Didn't enjoy this as much as I did when I read it with my kids for our Medieval year. Found the writing too wordy. But that's Pyle for you.

4. Dillehay: Broken Bread ⭐⭐⭐⭐  Non-fiction, Christian, Biblical, geared towards women, addresses diets or food fads and hospitality. Thought provoking questions with each chapter.

5. - 6. Ingalls-Wilder: Little House on the Prairie ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the Banks of Plum Creek ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (both Audible, read by Cherry Jones)

7. Cervantes: Don Quixote ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐  Re-read part one (3X). One of the earliest classic novels. Epic, charming, fantastical, and entertaining. Sometimes I have a faint knot in my throat when I read the tragic tale of Quixote. He represents the small minority of humanity that recognizes the passing away of something great of their times, knowing once it is gone it will never return; and he fights single-handedly to preserve it, while all the world mocks him and press forward for change.

8. Miller: The Story of the Middle Ages ⭐⭐⭐  Re-read. This is the spine for my self-education project. The Medieval period covers the Fall of the Roman Empire (West) until the beginning of Italian Renaissance, approximately 476 through 1450ish. That's a long time; therefore, I am ready to begin a new era.
